The overview
Know what you’re filing.
Forming a business creates a legal entity under the law of a particular state. The filing, required information and follow-on obligations depend on the entity type and jurisdiction. A business name alone does not determine the right structure.
Bring your proposed name, chosen entity type, formation state and the people authorized to act for the business. Entity Master Corporation reviews the filing request and confirms the available assistance before you authorize work.
A clear scope
What to expect.
What to confirm.
Your quote defines the included assistance. Legal advice, tax advice and unrelated filings are not included.
Filing assistance
- Review of the information needed for your requested formation filing.
- Preparation and submission assistance for the agreed filing.
- Confirmation of the filing result and documents received from the filing office.
Matters to confirm
- Entity type and state eligibility, including any professional-business restrictions.
- Agent designation, addresses, authorized signers and name availability.
- Government fees, service scope and expected agency processing time.

A clear next step.
Share your starting point
Tell us your chosen structure, state and proposed business name. Leave sensitive identifiers out of the inquiry.
Review the filing scope
Confirm the information, signatures, fees and assistance in your quote before authorizing work.
File and keep the record
The agreed filing is submitted after authorization. Keep accepted documents with your business records.
Can you choose an LLC or corporation for me?
Entity selection can affect liability, ownership and taxes. Get advice from your attorney and tax professional before choosing. Filing assistance is not legal or tax advice.
Does formation include a DBA or business license?
Not automatically. A fictitious business name, local license and regulated-business permit are separate matters. Ask about an FBN filing if your trading name differs from the legal name.
What happens after the state accepts the filing?
The business may still need internal governance documents, tax registrations, permits and periodic filings. California corporations and LLCs generally have an initial Statement of Information obligation within 90 days; the applicable form and schedule depend on the entity.
